Science-
 All students should have 3x5 notecards in class for Monday.  We will make flashcards for the Fungi/Protist test. We will also make flashcards for the rest of the tests for this packet as we work through the kingdoms.  You might want to stock up while they are cheap!

Tuesday is the Classification Vocabulary Quiz.  Friday is the Fungi/Protist quiz.  We will work on a project on Carl Linneaus in class this week.

Religion-
 Monday we will finish the ch. 1 packet and check all answers.  Tuesday we will have an open packet quiz on ch. 1.  Wednesday we will begin working on ch. 2 in the text. 

Upcoming Tests

Science- Next week we will have two Science quizzes.  The first will be on the 20 vocabulary words found in the front of the packet.  Today (Tuesday) all students made notecards to use when studying.  Test will be 20 fill in the blank questions with a word bank. This quiz will be given on Tuesday, August 21. The second quiz will be on the Fungi and Protist Kingdoms.  It will be given on Friday, August 24.  Students will make notecards on Monday, August 20 for this test.  ALL students should have a pack of 3x5 notecards in class on Monday.  Test format for this quiz is in the front of the packet.  Please email me with any questions.

Religion- We will have a very short open packet quiz on chapter 1 this Friday.

Welcome to 5th Grade!

Wow!  We had an amazing first three days of school.  5th grade can be overwhelming, but this group is handling it beautifully.  I hope you are starting to get a sense of how things run in 5th grade.  Check this page often for information for Science and Religion (I only teach Religion to my HR).  If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me.
