Science Fun







September 26-30, 2011

Science-
This week we are finishing Archaebacteria and Eubacteria. Test on these two kingdoms is on Wednesday. Thursday we will start working on the last two kingdoms and Friday we will complete our monthly skill builder exercise.

Last Friday students enjoyed and experiment that demonstrated what happens in our stomach when we eat. This went along with one of our Daily Science weekly questions....What happens when you swallow gum?

Religion- This week we are working on the Sacrament of Eucharist.

September 19-23, 2011

Science-
This week we are working on the Archaebacteria and Eubacteria kingdoms in the packet. Notecards are needed in class for Thursday. The test for these two kingdoms is Wednesday, September 28. Students are really enjoying our Tuesday DARE classes with Mr. Randy!

Religion-
This week we will finish up a project from last week, and discuss the readings for both school mass and Sunday mass. On Wednesdays we will use Venture magazine to help guide us through the Sunday readings.

School Mass on Friday. Wear mass uniform and support the Food Bank.

Science- This week we are learning about the Fungi and Protist kingdoms. Test on these two kingdoms will be given on Thursday, September 15. Notecards will be made in class on Monday.

Religion- This week we learned more about the sacrament of Baptism. Next week we will learn more about Confirmation. Today, September 8, we celebrated Mary's birthday with some yummy birthday cake.
