Spirit Shirts

Today Spirit Shirt order forms were sent home. These shirts are worn on Pep Rally and other designated days during the year. We ask that each student purchase one, if possible. The cost is $6.00 per shirt. Checks (made to St. Aloysius) or cash should be sent to school with the completed order form NO LATER THAN Friday, September 4, 2009. All grade level orders must be turned in Friday morning, so the sooner, the better. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher should you have any questions about this order.

Fun in the library!

Today my English class enjoyed a fun lesson with Mrs. Blanchard in the library. We listened to Casey at Bat, did a readers theater and then Mrs. Blanchard and I read the latest Casey story, Casey Back at Bat, which is a Louisiana Young Readers Choice nominee this year.

Alyssa works on our new SmartBoard!

English- This week we will continue work on Unit 1 in the Grammar book. The test on this whole Unit will be given on Thursday, September 10, 2009. Unit 2 in Vocabulary is due this Friday, September 4th. The test on Unit 2 Vocabulary will be given next Friday, September 11.

Science- This week we will finish our notes on the Process Skills. Each skill was reinforced by an in class activity. We will end the unit with a Science Lab Experiment on Thursday and Friday. The test on the notes in the packet will be given on Wednesday, September 10, 2009.
