November 11-15, 2013

Science- This is a crazy week for Science.  Monday we finished all information for the TEST on NOVEMBER 20.  Today we have DARE, tomorrow is retreat and Thursday is our monthly 4H meeting.  Friday we will work on the rough draft of a project that we will complete in class next week.  No STP's this week.  DARE reports are due next Tuesday, November 19.

Religion- This week we will work through chapter 5 in the text, Eucharist.  No STPs this week.


FYI
Wednesday- 5th grade retreat.  Students may wear their spirit shirt with regular school uniform.  Non-uniform socks and shoes are acceptable on this day.  No hats!  Since it is predicted that it will be cold tomorrow, students may want to bring a beach towel to sit on, as the floor of the Parish Hall will likely be chilly.

Thursday- Progress Reports go home.  Please sign and return on Friday.

Friday- IT'S FAIR TIME.  HAVE FUN!!!!

Science- This week we will review for the test on Wednesday.  Extra credit pictures are due to me, by email, by Tuesday night.  No STPs this week.

Religion- This week we are working on ch. 4 in the text about Confirmation.  One STP going home on Tuesday.

October 21-25, 2013

Science-  This week we will finish our ch. 3 packet on Fungi and Protists.  The test is Wednesday, October 30.  Homework EACH NIGHT is to study everything that has been checked so far.  At the end of class on Monday, all students will have sections 1 and 2 checked.  Test format and helpful hints will be coming soon.  One STP will go home tomorrow.

Religion- This week we will finish our chapter on the Rosary.  The quiz is tomorrow, Oct. 22.  No STPs this week.

Web Quest

Students had an fun experience using the computers to complete a web quest pulling together their knowledge from our Classification chapters.

Science

Test on Ch. 2 packet is Thursday, October 3. 

Extra credit is due at the start of class on Monday.

September 23-27, 2013

Science-
    This week we will start working on Ch. 2 in the text book.  We will also continue work on a Carl Linneaus project.  HW each night is to read over anything in the packet that has been checked.
All 4H forms are due no later than Friday.  No STPs this week.

Religion-
     This week we will read and discuss Ch. 3 in the textbook.  No STPs this week.

September 9-13, 2013

Science- STP's go home on Tuesday.  It is a 10 point Science Starter quiz, so signatures are not required.  Once you have reviewed the quiz and have no questions, quiz and packet may be filed at home.

This week we have D.A.R.E. on Tuesday, Living Things test on Wednesday, our first 4H meeting of the year on Thursday and will start a project on Carl Linneaus on Friday.


Religion- We will continue working through chapter 2 in the textbook this week.
